The First Time Hare Krishna Was Chanted On Television (Surprise, It Was Allen Ginsberg)

Allen Ginsberg was a famous American-born poet and writer that befriended Srila Prabhupada in the infantile stages of the Hare Krishna movement. There are several recorded conversations between Srila Prabhupada and Allen. Here, Allen Ginsberg propagates the chanting of Hare Krishna on William Buckley's interview show. Allen is quoted as saying the chanting of Hare Krishna brings one to a "state of ecstasy."
